FAQ

Everything you need to know before you drive.

What do I need to rent a car?

You must be 18 or older and provide a passport (or Emirates ID if you are a UAE resident), a valid driving licence, and your flight ticket if you are visiting. A security deposit is required on collection.

How much is the security deposit and when is it refunded?

AED 2,000 for drivers aged 25 and over, AED 5,000 for drivers under 25. It is refunded within 15 days of returning the car, once fines and Salik have been checked.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Cash, bank transfer, and credit or debit card. Card payments carry a 3% processing charge.

Is insurance included?

Yes, every rental includes comprehensive insurance. In an at-fault accident with a red police report you are responsible for the insurance excess (AED 6,000–8,000 depending on the car) plus 20% of the repair cost if you are 25 or older, or 30% if you are under 25.

How many kilometres are included?

250 km per day is included with every car. Additional kilometres are charged per km at the rate shown on the car page (between AED 8 and AED 20 depending on the car).
